The Corona Virus Pandemic may have brought an early end to the 2019/20 season, but the under 14's aren't ready for the off season yet.
Our lads have been completing regular, work outs, set on their usual training days and posting their results back, so their progress can be measured. They have also been working on their own passing and kicking skills. Some have taken part in the #isogames and a few brave souls have taken on the 'T shirt challenge', started by the Blyth RFC Colts team.
We all need to keep ourselves connected to our team and think about what we can do on our own or with family to improve our skill set or learn new skills. Work to improve our fitness and make ourselves stronger, so that when we do return to training, we are in the best possible condition to get back up to speed as quickly as possible.
We all need to make the most of the current situation and use it to our advantage. We will probably never have an opportunity to spend this amount of time our personal development.
I can't wait for us to be able to train together again, until then, train hard, keep in touch and stay safe.
